The QP Briefing Podcast: Featuring Fridays for Future Toronto’s Allie Rougeot

Allie Rougeot, co-ordinator of Fridays for Future Toronto, joins the podcast to talk about climate activism and what led her to this path of demanding more action on climate change. The Fridays for Future movement was inspired by Swedish climate activist Greta Thunberg, with Rougeot leading the Toronto chapter in holding regular protests outside Queen's Park. The third-year student at the University of Toronto also talks about how activism in Canada differs from that in France, where Rougeot previously lived, and why climate change is an important issue for many youth.
