There is still no date for negotiations to resume over Ontario doctors' compensation — Health Minister Eric Hoskins is blaming the doctors' association for “creating a wall” between itself and the government, preventing negotiations from going forward.
The Ontario Medical Association (OMA) is insisting on a guarantee it will get binding arbitration before it will resume negotiations with the province. There are no plans for that to occur, said Hoskins.
