iPolitics Presents: Saving Social Media Oct 18th @ 5:30 p.m.
The Toronto Star and iPolitics presents an evening with Frances Haugen. Haugen leaked internal documents to the Wall Street Journal in 2021 and testified before the US Senate regarding the issues of public safety and privacy that seemed to be ignored by large social media companies. Miss Haugen will discuss her ideals to reform social media to maximize protection of user's privacy and wellbeing.
