It's over. The Toronto Raptors are NBA Champions, taking the series against the Golden State Warriors in six games. But the celebrations weren't all fun and games. There was a shooting near Yonge-Dundas Square after the win, the Toronto Star reports. And a couple of police cars were damaged in the jubilance, Global reports.

Another attack ad paid for by union-backed group Engage Canada tied Premier Doug Ford to federal Conservative Leader Andrew Scheer Thursday night during the Raptors game, CTV News reports. This one is aimed at raising fears that Scheer would implement an "American-style" privatized health-care system. The group did not say how much they spent on the ad, CTV News reports.
