Trouble is brewing in the Tory nomination in Scarborough-Agincourt, over a candidate who failed to file audited financial statements after a failed city council run.
Cozette Giannini is seeking the nomination, which is set to be decided in an April 1 meeting. However, former president of the riding, Stephen Searle, is raising concerns about the fallout from her 2014 municipal election camping.
Giannini had run in Ward 39, lost to Councillor Jim Karygiannis, and then failed to file audited campaign expenses, as required by the Municipal Election Act. By failing to do so . . .
