Who's lobbying for whom: Health-care software company Novari Health

Novari Health was registered this week by associates at Santis Health to monitor government policy and the rollout of the provincial waitlist program to address surgical backlogs, as noted in the 2021 Budget.

The strength of Ontario's healthcare system is be top of mind for Ontario residents.

While Ontario is battling nurse shortages, the Ford government is looking to expand its use of private providers to perform public health services in a bid to deal with backlogs and delays in a healthcare system strained by the coronavirus pandemic.

Currently, the Premier says he is "very confident" the provincial and federal governments are going to reach a deal that'll see Ottawa cover a larger chunk of health-care costs.
