NDP MPP Marit Stiles joins the QP Briefing podcast this week to talk about all things education. Two major education announcements hit Queen's Park on March 12 just a couple of hours after the podcast was recorded, leading the QP Briefing team to check back in with Stiles via phone. We discussed the government's decision to close Ontario schools until April 6 to limit the spread of COVID-19 and the negotiations between teachers' unions and the province, with Stiles weighing in on the tentative deal that was reached with the Ontario English Catholic Teachers' Association.
