We are currently recruiting for a Government Relations Officer to work in the Office of the President for this exciting opportunity.
In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the advancement of York University’s strategic government relations strategic plan by ensuring opportunities are developed and long-term relationships are cultivated and maintained between the University and its key stakeholders which support the university’s efforts to advance our institutional strategic priorities.
To be considered for this opportunity, you will possess:
A Bachelor’s degree is required (Public Administration or Political Science). A Master’s degree is preferred. In addition, the successful incumbent will possess 5-7 years of progressive experience in government relations, stakeholder management and the development of policy material either for engagement with Government or within Government.
