It was a big weekend for Andrea Horwath. The Ontario NDP leader promised her party would bring universal pharmacare to the province if they form government in 2018, and New Democrats voted overwhelmingly against holding a leadership race to replace her.
QP Briefing was on the floor of the NDP's 2017 convention, which is where we recorded this episode. Keep in mind that we also recorded this before the confidence vote, wherein 89 per cent of NDP delegates voted against holding a leadership race.
